ConsultTed has been created by 2 award-winning pharmacists, who have been on the frontline of healthcare for over 30 years, helping thousands of people feel better.
ConsultTed helps pharmacies earn recognition for expert care and advice, whilst ensuring pharmacies maximise profits associated with over-the-counter consultations.
We give pharmacy consultations a modern-day upgrade, whilst keeping it simple and making pharmacy teams’ lives easier. A standardised process, available in multiple formats: in-person, remotely or ‘on-the-go.’
ConsultTed is the consultation co-pilot for pharmacies, powering pharmacy teams to better treat, advise and refer patients. Utilising both the public and private sectors, ConsultTed ensures patients receive treatment from the right person promptly.
Process

Patient or patient representative presents to a pharmacy for advice about their symptoms

Patient can choose between a full consultation or a convenient Grab-and-Go option

Consultation can be carried out by a pharmacist or a designated non-pharmacist staff member

Consultation details recorded and stored electronically using mobile tablet

Patients will receive the most appropriate and up-to-date treatment and advice, which may include an onward referral through the ConsultTed referral pathway

Pharmacist retains full oversight of consultations, with in-built clinical checks

Patient has the option to receive a copy of their personalised treatment plan which can be accessed whenever they need

This all happens without needing to have a prescription from the GP or other health professional
Remote consultations can also be offered using the ConsultTed app
Our next-generation treatment plans are provided to the patient, meaning they receive the best treatment advice in fresh, creative ways.
ConsultTed addresses the self-treatable condition pathway more and more patients are turning to in their search for timely healthcare.
Created for use by non-pharmacist staff members to allow less direct pharmacist involvement in over-the-counter medicine consultations. ConsultTed still ensures safe and auditable consultations while maintaining a professional appearance, befitting of a healthcare setting.
Treatment plans are ailment-specific and include self-care and aftercare advice from our team of multi-disciplinary health professionals, ensuring patients receive expert care from their local pharmacy.
